Photos from Our December 20, 2015 Sketch-Out in Marion Square

Despite the busy holiday season, eight Urban Sketchers made it out this past Sunday for our monthly sketch-out. We met in Marion Square at 2 p.m. The day was clear, sunny and 65° - not bad for an afternoon of drawing around the Square. 

We captured the holiday tourists, Charleston Farmers' Market, the Old Citadel, the Citadel Baptist Church, and the shops along King Street. We met back up at 4 p.m. to share our work, then headed over to Kudu for a hot chocolate (and a beer).

Join us for a Sketch-Out this Sunday, December 20

Please join us for our monthly sketch-out this coming Sunday, December 20, at 2 p.m. in Marion Square, downtown Charleston.  We will meet at the fountain in Marion Square on the corner of King Street and Calhoun Street.  We'll sketch in the area for two hours, and meet back at the fountain for a group photo at 4 p.m.  Email uskchs@gmail.com with any questions or for more information.

Photos From Our November 22, 2015 Sketch-Out on Church Street

The weather was less than ideal, however that did not stop a great turnout for the Sunday Sketch-Out.  We all met downtown around 2:00pm at St. Philip's Church on Church Street and scattered around the area to find some interesting views.  We met back up later and shared:

We will meet downtown again for the the December outing.  It will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, December 20th at Marion Square.  We will meet at the fountain in Marion Square on the corner of King Street and Calhoun Street 2:00pm, sketch, and then get back together around 4:00pm.  Please feel free to email uskchs@gmail.com if you have any questions or need more information.

The weather for this Sunday looks sunny and cool so we will be drawing outside! We will meet at 2:00pm on the front steps of St Philip's Church, 142 Church Street, Charleston 29401. Bring your sketchbook and plan to join us!
